What you will do

• Perform technical performance modeling of emerging industrial technologies like heat pumps and electric boilers.
• Execute techno-economic analyses including feasibility studies, cost-benefit assessments, and ROI calculations.
• Evaluate site-specific applicability of new technologies within complex facility systems.
• Contribute to technology landscape scanning and assessment of early-stage innovations.
• Develop clear reports and presentations for internal teams, utilities, and clients.
• Communicate technical findings to diverse audiences to guide decarbonization strategies.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
• Strong proficiency in technology performance modeling and unit operations analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct techno-economic analysis (TEA).
• Engineering or analytical background (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Process).
• High-level analytical proficiency in Excel or similar modeling tools.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business insights.

Nice to have

• Experience with clean heat technologies or utility energy programs.
• Consulting experience with client engagement and stakeholder facilitation.
• Exposure to startup environments or innovation ecosystems.
