What you will do

• Own the end-to-end data architecture spanning operational telemetry, IoT sensor feeds, asset performance metrics, and enterprise datasets.
• Design and evolve the enterprise data model to ensure consistency across BMS, EPMS, CMMS, and ERP systems.
• Define and implement ingestion and transformation pipelines supporting real-time streaming and batch processing workloads.
• Architect scalable cloud-based data platforms using time series, relational, and lakehouse patterns.
• Define and enforce data governance frameworks covering access control, retention, and security in partnership with cyber teams.
• Deliver production-grade datasets to support predictive modelling, digital twin initiatives, and strategic reporting.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Texas, United States (Hybrid).
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong background in data architecture within mission-critical industrial environments (e.g., data centres, energy systems, smart buildings).
• Proven experience in enterprise data modelling and governance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience designing time series platforms and streaming data architectures.
• Familiarity with operational technology and IoT protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, or OPC UA.
