What you will do

• Define and maintain enterprise technology strategy and target architecture frameworks.
• Lead the conceptual and logical design of enterprise systems and services.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical requirements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and conduct trade studies for modernization initiatives.
• Provide architectural guidance and ensure compliance with security controls like NIST and DHS 4300A.
• Develop business cases and ROI analyses to support technology investment decisions.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain required security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software development or IT engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network architecture and design.
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise IT architectures within federal environments.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Copilot or an approved equivalent AI solution.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting DHS, CISA, or other federal civilian agencies.
• Experience with enterprise cloud architectures and hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
