What you will do

• Execute the technical strategy for the Cloud Compute team on a yearly scale and drive business-impacting projects.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to ensure technical sustainability and manage risks.
• Define and advocate for technical solutions and operational processes to act as a force-multiplier for the team.
• Take ownership of operations and availability through monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, and alerting.
• Set code review and design standards to foster a culture of quality and ownership.
• Participate in the required on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Extensive track record of developing and deploying highly available distributed systems using AWS and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for cloud and distributed systems.
• Extensive experience automating deployments using Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to deliver major features or deprecate system functionality through structured execution plans.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to move between low-level idioms and large-scale system architecture.
• Must be based in Poland.
