What you will do

• Architect and implement a robust agentic framework supporting tool use, context retrieval, memory, and planning.
• Build intelligent, modular agents to automate investigative tasks and augment analyst decision-making.
• Extend and scale LLM infrastructure (OpenAI, Anthropic, local models) using prompt engineering and RAG.
• Design safe, observable, and auditable agent behaviors for high-sensitivity environments.
• Evaluate system performance across reasoning, latency, and hallucination metrics.
• Contribute to a culture of rapid experimentation and ethical AI deployment.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background with deep experience in backend or systems work, preferably with Python.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, agents, and frameworks like LangChain.
• Proficiency with vector databases and optimizing information flow into AI systems.
• Thoughtful approach to system design with a focus on safety, scalability, and explainability.
• Must be based in the United States.

• Experience with knowledge graphs.
• Experience with task orchestration or AI safety.
