What you will do

• Prioritize, escalate, and resolve technical product issues and provide industry-specific compliance guidance.
• Drive the integration and adoption of Black Duck solutions into customer CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
• Act as a strategic advisor to align AppSec strategies with customer business priorities.
• Conduct role-specific training for developers, testers, product teams, and security administrators.
• Advocate for customers internally to prioritize resources and drive successful outcomes.
• Optimize technology usage to ensure value realization and faster time-to-value.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Toronto or Calgary, Canada.
• At least 12 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Strong knowledge of application security, vulnerabilities, and open-source licensing.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
• Software development experience in C/C++, Java, or C#.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.

Nice to have

• Track record as a TAM, solution architect, or sales engineer in AppSec or DevSecOps.
• Security certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or CSSLP.
• Experience with enterprise-scale web development and microservices.
• MBA or Master’s degree in a technical or management field.
