What you will do

• Lead development and continuous improvement of machining, automated assembly, and inspection work centers.
• Act as the technical bridge between design engineering and the production floor to resolve throughput issues.
• Program 3, 3+2, and 5-axis CNC mills using Siemens NX CAM software.
• Drive Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) improvements to reduce part complexity and increase manufacturability.
• Implement innovative fixturing strategies for complex additive manufactured geometries.
• Analyze production data to identify root causes of scrap and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Must be able to lawfully access information subject to US export controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in the aerospace or defense industries.
• Hands-on experience with additive manufacturing, robotics, and CNC machining.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, specifically Siemens NX and AutoCAD.
• Advanced knowledge of GD&T, tooling, and metrology.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering.
• Experience with robotic machining systems and calibration methodologies.
• Experience with manufacturing automation in automotive or aerospace environments.
