What you will do

• Ensure quality and statistical rigor of data products through weighting, fusion, and calibration processes.
• Lead and manage the Data Science team to provide recommendations on AI and statistical methodologies.
• Oversee the application of data mining and hybrid methodologies, ensuring internal and external models meet rigorous standards.
• Develop new approaches for mining and managing data outputs from various internal and external sources.
• Supervise advanced analytics reports and simulations to provide business impact for clients.
• Implement automation solutions to drive efficiency across the organization.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role combining statistical and computational skills.
• Expertise in theoretical and applied statistics, including sample design, modeling, and forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and R.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Must be based in Toronto, ON for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Accredited Statistician or Advanced Data Science certifications.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and synthetic population frameworks.
