Credit Officer

What you will do

• Develop and administer pre-credit analysis for credit relationships of $2,500,000 and greater.
• Evaluate and approve new credit, renewals, extensions, and amendments within prescribed authority.
• Review and approve annual loan reviews for selected borrowers and guarantors.
• Collaborate with Commercial Relationship Bankers to structure credits and monitor covenants.
• Assist in the training and development of Credit Analysts and Commercial Relationship Bankers.
• Support Senior Credit Officers in reviewing portfolio management reports to minimize exceptions and maintain risk rating integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Eight years of credit analysis experience required.
• Formal credit training at a regional or large financial institution is highly preferred.
• Ability to perform essential physical duties including sitting, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Strong understanding of credit policies and risk management practices.
