Associate Credit Analyst

TL;DR

Associate Credit Analyst (Finance): Performing fundamental credit analysis of issuers and securities for Global Liquidity portfolios with an accent on financial condition, capital structure, and investment suitability. Focus on supporting the Global Liquidity Research Committee, conducting issuer surveillance, and articulating defensible credit recommendations to portfolio managers.

Location: Must be based in Atlanta, Georgia (Hybrid: 4 days per week in office).

What you will do

• Perform fundamental credit analysis on current and potential holdings, evaluating financial condition, liquidity, and credit risks.
• Develop and articulate defensible credit recommendations supported by financial data and internal research.
• Serve as a member of the Global Liquidity Research Committee to contribute to issuer and security approval decisions.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers to evaluate securities against fund objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Cultivate relationships with sell-side research teams and rating agencies to support issuer surveillance.
• Contribute to client-facing materials and thought leadership regarding credit views and market themes.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in financial services, credit analysis, or investment research.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
• Working knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit fundamentals, and investment research methods.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, Excel, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Must be able to work from the Atlanta office 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• Progress toward CFA designation or an advanced degree.
• Familiarity with money market funds, short-duration fixed income, or SEC Rule 2a-7.
