Senior Front-End Engineer (AI/ML)

Location: Fully remote within the United States, or hybrid/on-site at the Austin, Texas office; up to 10% travel required.

Base salary: $160,000–$200,000 per year, plus potential equity grants and cash bonuses.

What you will do

• Build the next generation of the AI/ML operations platform.
• Develop intuitive, reliable, and maintainable production web applications.
• Translate user and technical requirements into polished front-end experiences.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product designers, software engineers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Integrate AI development tools, including LLMs and code agents, into engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a STEM concentration and 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, design patterns, responsive design, and modern CSS.
• Production experience with React and high proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, with familiarity with GraphQL, Next.js, Vite, automated testing, and unit testing frameworks such as Playwright and Jest.
• Experience with cloud-based software deployment, component libraries, design systems, and Git.
• US citizenship and eligibility and willingness to obtain a Secret US security clearance required.

Nice to have

• Experience with TanStack Query, Axios, React Context API, styled-components, Python, or Go.
• Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes with Helm and operating applications in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and translating Figma designs into production interfaces.
• Active Secret or higher US security clearance.
