Design Engineer (React)

hirify.global is an applied AI company building an automated bookkeeping experience that combines machine learning and tax code to manage business finances.

What you will do

• Build performant, beautiful, and responsive websites and landing pages.
• Own and improve the in-product user experience, marketing website, and landing pages.
• Help build and maintain hirify.global's design system.
• Implement creative animations and interactions in code.
• Develop special projects that strengthen hirify.global's brand.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, and Growth.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience focused on frontend development.
• Strong familiarity with React and TypeScript.
• Strong product taste, attention to detail, and a focus on excellent user experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating technical skills, creative use of code, and prototyping through Webflow, microsites, WebGL, or similar work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with B2+ English required for verbal communication.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to work through feedback and iteration.

Nice to have

• Startup experience, especially during a growth stage.
• Experience founding a startup or working as a founding engineer.
• Experience with modern frontend libraries such as TanStack Query.
• Experience in SMB, SaaS, or fintech.
