What you will do
- Own the full new-business sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing.
- Build and execute territory plans targeting high-value enterprise prospects.
- Engage CISOs, CTOs, and DevOps executives to deliver business cases for AppSec modernization.
- Drive competitive takeouts and position the platform as the preferred security solution.
- Partner with Sales Engineering to guide prospects through technical validation and PoCs.
- Navigate complex procurement processes and multi-stakeholder decision cycles.
Requirements
- Must be based in the Southeastern US (AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, TN, VA, WV)
- Proven track record of hunting and closing large, complex enterprise deals in cybersecurity or developer tooling.
- Strong understanding of Application Security, SCA, SBOM, and modern software supply chain challenges.
- Ability to engage both technical and executive audiences with credibility.
- Exceptional prospecting, negotiation, and strategic selling skills.
Nice to have
- Experience selling SCA or AppSec platforms like Snyk, Veracode, or Checkmarx.
- Familiarity with CI/CD ecosystems such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Background selling into Fortune 500 or global enterprise organizations.
