What you will do

• Review and validate AI-generated code proposals, identifying edge cases and ensuring architectural integrity.
• Ship features end-to-end within a Shopify application.
• Triage and resolve bugs and tasks using agentic coding tools.
• Maintain platform stability and high code quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to shape product direction and establish growing engineering practices.

Requirements

• Strong Ruby on Rails experience with hands-on Shopify app development.
• Ability to critically review AI-generated code in an agentic coding environment.
• Active GitHub profile with consistent recent contributions.
• Strong written English communication.
• Must be based in Brazil to support CLT contract via Deel Employer of Record.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI development tooling such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar.
