What you will do

• Write and ship high-quality code across the full stack for approximately 60% of your time.
• Lead technical direction and system architecture alongside another senior engineer.
• Manage work intake, sequence priorities, and remove blockers for your squad.
• Mentor engineers through pairing, design guidance, and regular feedback.
• Partner with Product and Design to align on scope, trade-offs, and feasibility.
• Foster an inclusive and psychologically safe environment for the team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership on cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to build customer-facing SPAs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of agile practices and iterative product development.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor technical ideas to diverse audiences.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in a startup or fast-growing environment.
• Familiarity with distributed systems or service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with AWS, C#, React, or Ember.js.
