Lead Engineer (C#/.NET, Angular, Oracle)

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership for a small application development scrum team working on the Certent Equity Management platform.
• Write, review, and contribute production code across C#/.NET, Angular, and Oracle.
• Set priorities, remove blockers, run sprint planning, refinement, standups, demos, and retrospectives.
• Drive unit testing, code review discipline, definition-of-done compliance, and release readiness.
• Manage four to five engineers through 1:1s, performance feedback, career development, and coaching.
• Clarify requirements with client stakeholders and collaborate with engineering, architecture, product management, and QA.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in enterprise SaaS, including technical leadership experience.
• Deep full-stack expertise in C#/.NET, Angular, Oracle, TypeScript, Reactive Forms, RxJS, and Angular Material.
• Hands-on experience with Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, Entity Framework Core, Oracle PL/SQL, and query optimization.
• Experience with Azure cloud technologies and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for at least 3 years.
• Experience with agentic development tooling such as GitHub Copilot or Devin.AI and driving AI adoption within an engineering team.
• Experience leading scrum delivery and directly managing engineers, including performance feedback and career development.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET modernization, Liquibase, observability tools, containerization, and background job scheduling.
• Experience with multi-repository, multi-product platforms and shared database or internal package ecosystems.
• Background in financial services, equity compensation, or other regulated domains.
• Certified Scrum Master certification or experience mentoring engineers into senior or lead roles.
