• Design, build, and scale decentralized matching engines, risk systems, and limit order books.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership on architectural tradeoffs and project timelines.
• Establish engineering best practices regarding code reviews, performance, testing, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, researchers, and product managers.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers to foster team growth.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a backend software engineer.
• Experience with trading system development at a mid/high-frequency firm.
• Experience with exchange infrastructure, including low-latency order intake and risk checks.
• Strong proficiency in systems or backend languages such as Go, Rust, C++, or Python.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, software architecture, and CS fundamentals.
