What you will do
- Set the technical strategy for the team and align it with critical, business-impacting projects.
- Act as a force-multiplier by defining and advocating for technical solutions and operational processes.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to manage technical sustainability, risks, and trade-offs.
- Develop talent through continuous feedback, guidance, and leading by example.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- 8+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years managing engineers.
- Proficiency in machine learning, specifically tree-based models, transformers, deep learning, and agentic ML.
- Strong engineering skills and ability to provide hands-on technical leadership for code and architecture.
- Must be based in Canada.
