What you will do

• Develop and implement a global malaria modeling strategy aligned with eradication goals and scientific advances.
• Manage the IDM malaria team project portfolio to deliver timely analytical products for key stakeholders.
• Design modeling approaches to assess the implementation of new tools and interventions in endemic settings.
• Collaborate across research pillars and Foundation teams to maximize analytical impact.
• Develop strategies to support and grow malaria priorities for Regional Country Offices (RCOs).
• Performance manage direct reports and foster a productive, collaborative research environment.

Requirements

• PhD in modeling of infectious disease, infectious disease epidemiology, malaria epidemiology, or a similar field.
• Proven track record of success in complex, multi-disciplinary research environments.
• Experience translating modeling results into public health policy and improved decision-making.
• Advanced knowledge of dynamical models, statistical techniques, and spatial analytics.
• Expertise in advanced coding and AI capabilities.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization in the US (no immigration sponsorship provided).
