What you will do

  • Design and implement compensation solutions specifically for R&D talent (approx. 40% of the role).
  • Manage end-to-end compensation processes throughout the employee life cycle (approx. 30% of the role).
  • Build and deliver enterprise-wide compensation programs and frameworks (approx. 30% of the role).
  • Analyze competitive trends in cash and equity to inform strategic decision-making and tradeoffs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to founders and executive leadership on offers, promotions, leveling, and M&A scenarios.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in job architecture, compensation frameworks, market pricing, and global compensation practices.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of tech sector compensation practices, particularly regarding new-hire and refresh equity strategies.
  • Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and navigate competing priorities to drive optimal outcomes.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, or Python.
  • Experience leveraging AI for compensation analytics.
