What you will do

• Define canonical agent identity, delegation, and audit patterns for field deployment.
• Lead the most strategic, regulated, and technically novel customer deployments.
• Review architectures and coach senior customer engineers to raise the technical bar.
• Synthesize field patterns to influence product and engineering roadmaps.
• Represent Okta as a technical authority to CISO and CIO audiences.
• Develop reusable modules and internal tooling to accelerate the field engineering function.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience shipping production software with deep distributed systems and identity expertise.
• Expertise in identity protocols including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and RFC 8693.
• Deep fluency in agent security standards (OWASP, NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATLAS, EU AI Act).
• Strong command of fine-grained authorization (ReBAC/ABAC) and policy engines like OPA or Cedar.
• Proven hands-on experience with major AI agent platforms and MCP.
• Ability to travel up to 35% as required.
