What you will do

• Lead model validation and annual review activities, identifying risks and documenting findings
• Provide independent challenge to model design, performance, and controls; recommend practical enhancements
• Partner with model owners, developers, and business leaders to support governance and issue resolution
• Oversee third-party validation engagements to ensure quality, scope alignment, and timely delivery
• Maintain model inventory and support reporting, documentation, and regulatory expectations
• Communicate insights, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and oversight committees

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or Mathematics, plus 3–4 years of related model validation, risk management, audit, or compliance experience in a financial institution
• Demonstrated capabilities in policy review, model reviews/monitoring, certification standards, inventory management, and issues management
• Extensive experience compiling and distributing reports
• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills to translate complex findings into clear, concise outputs for model owners
• General knowledge of financial theory, statistics, numerical analysis, and model risk management
