What you will do

• Design and build data infrastructure for advanced AI tools, including data pipelines, governance, and documentation.
• Steward knowledge by organizing, governing, and making key data assets accessible for analysis and learning.
• Catalog, code, tag, and structure communications and research data (qualitative and quantitative) for AI-enabled analysis and reporting.
• Enable AI readiness across data, processes, and organizational culture to support sustained adoption.
• Use quantitative analytical tools and contemporary AI tools to support evaluation, learning, and insight generation.
• Identify AI opportunities, evaluate emerging AI tools/platforms for scalability and responsible use, and translate adoption barriers into actionable decisions.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Washington, DC (unrestricted work authorization required in the country where the position is located).
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in information science, data science, social science, public policy, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in knowledge management, data analysis, research, evaluation, or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience working with multiple data types, including qualitative and quantitative datasets.
• Experience organizing, tagging, and managing data for analysis, reporting, and long-term reuse.
• Fluency with contemporary AI tools for data analysis and sensemaking at a sophisticated user level (not developer).

Location: Washington, DC

Salary: $143,000–$214,400 USD (or $157,300–$235,900 USD for Seattle and Washington, D.C. offices)
