Location: Must be based in Winnersh, UK

Salary: £100,000–£110,000 plus 25% performance-related bonus

What you will do

  • Provide patient-centred clinical and professional leadership for the pharmacy operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with GPhC standards, MHRA regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee and manage Controlled Drugs governance and accurate record-keeping.
  • Develop and maintain safe working practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor and audit medicines expenditure while driving efficiency through automation.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operations, and technology teams to shape future pharmacy strategy.

Requirements

  • Registered Pharmacist with current GPhC registration is mandatory.
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent Pharmacist or senior pharmacy leader.
  • Strong understanding of GPhC and MHRA regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience managing Controlled Drugs governance and high-volume pharmacy environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage regulatory inspections.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Winnersh.

Nice to have

  • Experience in online pharmacy or private healthcare.
  • Background in medical cannabis or multi-site pharmacy operations.
  • Experience scaling pharmacy operations and implementing new technology.
