What you will do

• Conduct research for anchors and maintain real-time updates during live programs.
• Gather and relay breaking news information for on-air use.
• Manage anchor logistics, including script printing, guest one-sheets, calendars, and travel arrangements.
• Coordinate graphic elements for air and locate required photos for broadcast.
• Pitch stories and guests to producers.
• Create and edit social media content for platforms including YouTube, TikTok, X, and Bluesky.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional news production experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work weekends and flexible hours under tight deadline pressure.
• Ability to work onsite in Universal City, California.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of politics, history, and current events.
• Proficiency with Avid/Interplay and iNews.
