Location: Must be based in New York, New York. This position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of four days per week in the office.

Salary: $29.08/hr (approx. $5,050/month)

What you will do

• Collaborate with producers to find and edit video, sound, and graphics for daily stories.
• Monitor show rundowns to ensure all assets are accurate, current, and ready for broadcast.
• Partner with artists to create engaging graphics that enhance audience understanding.
• Pitch smart, relevant stories for daily and future segments.
• Conduct fast and accurate research and fact-checking for news segments.
• Coordinate with reporters and anchors to maintain NBC News standards.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work in New York, New York.
• Must be available for overnight/early morning hours (Monday – Friday, 2am – 10am ET).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in broadcast, digital, or cable news (including internships).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
