What you will do

• Clip and publish TODAY broadcast video to digital platforms.
• Write engaging, accurate, SEO-friendly headlines, captions, and stories tied to visual content.
• Maintain and improve video publishing best practices and workflows.
• Select and edit images for cross-platform use; advise programming producers on best available media.
• Organize and QA video metadata; support editorial stakeholders in troubleshooting technical publishing processes.
• Execute rights and clearances (R&C) media processes and perform quality control for distribution with partners/platforms (e.g., YouTube, Hulu, Apple TV, Roku).

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience producing/editing/promoting multimedia content on the web.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a discipline emphasizing storytelling and multimedia creation.
• Strong video editing skills across desktop, mobile, tablet, and social.
• Expertise with non-linear editing systems (e.g., Avid, Final Cut) and working knowledge of Photoshop.
• Proficiency with web-based video publishing programs (e.g., Wildmoka).
• Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States; ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and overtime on short notice.
