TL;DR
Finance and Accounting Associate (SaaS): Managing core financial operations and streamlining operational processes for a social services software platform with an accent on data analytics and accounts receivable. Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA) - Must be in-office Mondays and Thursdays
Salary: $125,000 – $140,000 + Equity

What you will do
- Manage accounts receivables, including generating invoices, following up on payments in Maxio, and communicating on overdue balances.
- Contribute to internal data infrastructure by writing SQL queries and creating dashboards to deliver insights to internal teams.
- Process employee expenses via Ramp and handle hourly/salaried payroll, including commission calculations.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly compliance reports, quarterly investor updates, and cash flow projections.
- Drive process improvements for ARR tracking, contract renewal visibility, and departmental income statements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of work experience in accounting or finance.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, macros).
- Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco, CA to meet hybrid office requirements.
- Strong understanding of core accounting concepts and principles.
Nice to have
- Experience in SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
- Proficiency in SQL or similar database query languages.
- Familiarity with Maxio, QuickBooks, and Ramp.
