Chief of Staff (Gamedev): Serving as a trusted partner to the CEO and studio leadership to drive operational efficiency and strategic execution with an accent on cross-functional alignment and process optimization. Focus on translating high-level studio goals into actionable roadmaps, facilitating leadership rhythms, and removing operational friction across Production, Creative, and Business functions.
Location: Must be based in or able to work from Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 USD annually

What you will do
- Own the leadership operating rhythm, including scheduling and facilitating meetings, creative reviews, and planning sessions.
- Translate studio goals into quarterly and annual plans, tracking progress and surfacing risks early.
- Lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives and special projects across Business, Creative, and Production.
- Improve workflows and processes across Design, Engineering, Art, and Production to identify bottlenecks.
- Serve as a central point of coordination to ensure alignment on priorities, dependencies, and timelines.
- Act as a day-to-day thought partner to the CEO on priorities, trade-offs, and studio health.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work from Los Angeles, CA.
- 4–7+ years in operations, production, program management, consulting, or startup leadership.
- Experience supporting executive planning processes, including leadership offsites, annual planning, and OKRs.
- Proven ability to both plan strategically and execute tactically.
- Exceptional organization, meeting facilitation, and project management skills.
- Ability to influence without authority and maintain a team-first mindset.
Nice to have
- Experience in a game studio or creative production environment.
- Experience directly supporting executives or leadership teams.
