Salary: $166,600–$229,150 USD annually for Zone 1

What you will do

• Lead product and design initiatives for a strategic new product area.
• Define agent-driven workflows that connect data and insights with decisions and business actions.
• Design intuitive experiences for complex enterprise data workflows while preserving flexibility and power.
• Partner with product management, engineering, and leadership to shape business applications on the Databricks platform.
• Conduct user research on data activation and AI-assisted workflows.
• Mentor junior designers and support their professional development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, computer science, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
• Experience leading large, complex design projects and balancing diverse stakeholder needs.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills supported by data-driven, research-based UX methods.
• Ability to combine systems thinking with tactical design execution for incremental engineering delivery.
• Technical knowledge, visual design skills, and a portfolio showing the end-to-end design process from inception to production.

Nice to have

• Experience designing products for both technical and business users.
• Familiarity with data, analytics, AI, or enterprise software.
• Experience using modern development and AI-assisted coding tools for prototyping and understanding implementation tradeoffs.
