TL;DR

Product Engineering Manager (Hardware/Software): Leading the performance, quality, and lifecycle management of Mail hardware and software solutions with an accent on cross-functional integration and service profitability. Focus on driving product reliability, managing complex technical roadmaps, and bridging the gap between R&D, Sales, and field operations.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Kennesaw, GA office (Hybrid)

Salary: $110,800 – $166,200 yearly

What you will do

  • Define and execute product engineering strategies aligned with corporate and service objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept and launch to field performance and end-of-life.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, integration experts, and technical trainers.
  • Drive continuous improvement in product reliability, quality, and cost-to-serve metrics.
  • Oversee the design and deployment of custom integrations between systems and customer platforms.
  • Act as a technical advisor to senior leadership and manage departmental budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8–12+ years of experience in product engineering (hardware and/or software).
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, or software systems, including APIs and cloud platforms.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience in mailing, document handling, or similar technical industries.
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on profitability and operational efficiency.
