Associate Director, Academic Partnerships (Scholarly Publishing): Expanding Taylor & Francis’s reach and impact within research communities with an accent on driving business growth through strategic partnerships. Location: Must be based within a commutable distance of Philadelphia or New York and able to work onsite 3 days per week. Must have the right to work and live in the United States.
Salary: $120,000–$150,000 + up to 15% annual bonus.

What you will do
- Drive portfolio growth through strategic academic partnerships and outreach.
- Develop long-term strategic plans for engagement with research institutions, societies, and industry KOLs.
- Analyze market demands and competitor activity to identify portfolio gaps and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Publishing and Commercial teams to align initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to deepen visibility.
- Build credibility as a trusted publisher by supporting high-quality content development.
Requirements
- Must have the right to work and live in the United States.
- Must live within a commutable distance of Philadelphia or New York for 3 days/week onsite work.
- Comprehensive expertise in scholarly publishing and publisher-research community dynamics.
- Proven experience in acquisitions, partnerships, and editorial leadership.
- Strong network of contacts across the academic and research sectors.
- Excellent communication, project management, and commercial acumen.
