What you will do

• Collaborate with designers to solve complex engineering problems from concept to production readiness.
• Develop reusable platform-level innovations for assembly and connection systems.
• Simplify existing product platforms to reduce part counts and improve tolerances.
• Optimize product quality and costs for better transportation and logistics.
• Solve packaging constraints to ensure products ship in compact, weight-limited boxes.
• Diagnose and fix performance issues related to materials, foams, and structural components.

Requirements

• 5 to 8+ years of experience in product, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, materials, tolerances, and DFM.
• Proficiency in CAD tools like SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
• Experience building and testing physical prototypes.
• Ability to design scalable systems across product lines.
• Must be based in-person at the head office in Montreal.
