What you will do

• Define system architectures and lead spacecraft-level engineering efforts.
• Manage system-level budgets, including mass, power, RF link, propellant, and reliability.
• Conduct advanced trade studies, risk assessments, and performance analyses.
• Establish standards, processes, and templates for the Satellite Engineering and Analysis (SEA) team.
• Mentor engineers and shape the team structure as the organization scales.
• Implement AI-enabled tools and automation to optimize engineering workflows and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in spacecraft systems engineering.
• Expertise in system-level trade studies and spacecraft budget management.
• Experience with FDIR, FMECA, and reliability strategies.
• Proven technical leadership and mentoring skills.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools or workflow automation to improve productivity.
