What you will do

• Lead the implementation of large features and multi-sprint projects using C# and the .NET platform.
• Design, build, and maintain performant, secure, and well-documented RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Translate complex problems and acceptance criteria into robust, testable backend solutions.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
• Influence engineering practices regarding testing, design hygiene, and operational readiness.
• Develop prototypes and proofs-of-concept to validate architectural approaches.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core).
• Proven experience designing RESTful APIs, including versioning and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Expertise with relational data stores (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience deploying and operating .NET services on cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude to accelerate development.
• Familiarity with message brokers or event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
• Experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of gRPC or GraphQL API patterns.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
