TL;DR

Auditor (US GAAP/PCAOB): Perform account reconciliations, trial balance preparations, and substantive audit procedures covering revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), broker-dealer compliance, and employee benefit plan audits with an accent on compliance with US GAAP, PCAOB, and AICPA standards. Focus on conducting walkthroughs, control testing, engagement planning, and preparing detailed audit communications and documentation.

Location: Coral Springs, FL and remote work from anywhere within the U.S.

Salary: $55,000 - $85,000/year

What you will do

• Perform account reconciliations, trial balance preparations, and substantive audit procedures.
• Handle revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), broker-dealer compliance, and employee benefit plan audits.
• Conduct walkthroughs, control testing, and engagement planning.
• Prepare audit communications and documentation in compliance with US GAAP, PCAOB, and AICPA.

Requirements

• Must have two (2) years of experience as auditor or related.
• Experience with ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 820, ASC 718, ASC 505, and 401(k) plan audits (ERISA).
• Utilizing PCAOB standards and assessments (ASC 205-40) for audit procedures.
• Assisting in planning and execution of annual audit plans and preparing detailed audit reports for ERISA 401(k) plans, PCAOB engagements, private companies, broker-dealers, and investment funds.
