What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Technical Leads, coaching them on the oversight of external development.
• Audit third-party codebases, technical roadmaps, and architectural plans to identify critical risks and technical debt.
• Establish and manage technical review cadences, including code reviews, architecture reviews, and milestone readiness assessments.
• Act as the primary technical bridge between external studios and internal Production and QA teams.
• Align partner technical strategies with internal standards and ensure platform compliance for Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo.
• Collaborate with Production to ensure technical milestones are realistic and quality metrics are measurable.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing and mentoring engineers, focusing on both technical and soft skills.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience within the games industry.
• Strong professional C++ programming experience for auditing codebases and guiding technical discussions.
• Proficiency with modern source control systems such as Perforce or Git, including branching and build pipelines.
• Experience working with video game publishers or managing first-party platform relationships.
• Background in shipping high-profile ports, remasters, or multi-platform titles.
