What you will do

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of highly-skilled Unity engineers to ensure high-quality output.
• Manage the full recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation lifecycle for engineering staff.
• Define and implement engineering vision, strategy, and best practices to improve business performance.
• Partner with Production to remove technical impediments and align engineering capacity with product roadmaps.
• Ensure all products meet COPPA regulatory expectations and maintain high source code integrity.
• Communicate technical strategy and decisions to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering as an individual contributor.
• 5+ years of experience in mobile app development with a strong focus on Unity and C#.
• Proven track record of leading and managing teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the software development life cycle.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and motivate distributed teams.

• Experience or understanding of children's play and early childhood education.
