What you will do

• Manage and develop a team of software engineers, including hiring and performance management.
• Own the delivery of the team roadmap, ensuring features are delivered on time and meet quality expectations.
• Partner with Product and QA to define scope, prioritize work, and align on delivery timelines.
• Drive the adoption of engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality standards.
• Support release readiness, production stability, and incident response activities.
• Contribute to technical decisions and system design while enabling engineers to take ownership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams (direct people management, performance reviews, hiring).
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment.
• Experience delivering cloud-based SaaS applications (AWS, Azure, or similar).
• Experience working in Agile development environments with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience supporting production systems, including incident response and release management.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET (C#, .NET Core) in production environments.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with observability tools (logging, monitoring, alerting).
• Exposure to AI/ML features or workflows in a product environment.
