Project Quality Engineer (Aerospace & Defense)

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 Annually

What you will do

• Lead quality-related decisions on program teams to meet contractual requirements for customers and government agencies.
• Perform failure analysis, root cause and corrective action (RCCA), and risk mitigation.
• Support Customer and Government (DCMA) inspections and audits.
• Develop comprehensive quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing, assembly, and final testing.
• Conduct QE studies to recommend design changes and improve production efficiency.
• Prepare End Item Data packs for source inspections and hardware shipments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a STEM field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in Engineering or Manufacturing.
• 5+ years of specialized experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance and access US export-controlled information.
• Proficiency with statistical, spreadsheet, and database software.
