What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of field quality engineers to drive quality initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Oversee the Early Field Failure Analysis (EFFA) program to identify and resolve root causes of early-life failures.
• Implement structured 8D, Fishbone, and DMAIC methodologies for systemic failure resolution.
• Analyze field return data, manufacturing trends, and customer feedback to drive data-driven corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Product Design, NPI, and Reliability Engineering to enhance product durability and manufacturability.
• Conduct audits and drive CAPA to mitigate risks with contract manufacturers and global suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, failure analysis, or field reliability within high-volume manufacturing.
• Expertise in FA methodologies (5Why, 8D, DOE, FMEA) and tools such as X-ray, FTIR, SEM/EDS, and thermal analysis.
• Proficiency in data analytics and statistical software including JMP, Minitab, Python, or SQL.
• 3+ years of experience managing and developing teams in the consumer electronics, wearables, or medical device industry.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and relevant regulatory compliance requirements.
