What you will do

• Take total technical ownership of key platform components, shaping architectural direction and solving ambiguous problems.
• Write production-ready, self-documenting code while improving testing strategies and non-functional requirements.
• Identify and resolve systemic bottlenecks and architectural risks across multi-service configurations.
• Mentor other engineers, lead technical discussions, and perform rigorous code reviews to improve team standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Deep expertise in systems design, database optimization (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and cloud execution.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in or have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
