What you will do

• Own the full software development lifecycle from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring.
• Build and operate backend services, including APIs, integrations, and data-focused systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to shape technical solutions.
• Manage systems in production, focusing on debugging, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Solid backend experience using Python in a production environment.
• Experience building and operating systems on AWS.
• Strong proficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing.
• Experience with collaborative development practices like pair programming.
• Must be based in London or able to commute for hybrid work requirements.
