Senior Engineer (ESG)

Location: Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom; hybrid work with at least four full days each week in an hirify.global office

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ESG technology applications and services.
• Build and support cloud-based, data-driven solutions for ESG analytics, reporting, and decision-making.
• Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues according to established procedures.
• Contribute to technical documentation, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
• Provide informal guidance and share engineering knowledge within the team.

Requirements

• Experience with React, JavaScript, Spring Boot, or Python and modern application development.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, CI/CD, and Agile development.
• Experience integrating AI/ML services, LLMs, or AI-powered APIs.
• Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Financial services or asset management experience is preferred.
