Base Salary: $56,800 - $71,000 CAD annually

What you will do

• Analyze and understand new fraud trends, patterns, and techniques to proactively manage risk.
• Conduct forensic research and in-depth investigations of evidence and allegations of suspicious activity.
• Leverage fraud detection technology to review system-generated alerts and disposition fraudulent activity.
• Detect and mitigate fraudulent attacks, including Phishing, Trojans, and Mobile App threats.
• Document all investigative activities and prepare detailed written reports of findings.
• Collaborate with management to recommend fraud control enhancements and create training materials.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of fraud prevention experience, preferably within the FinTech or Banking sectors.
• Strong understanding of the FinTech industry and its associated products and services.
• Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multitask, maintain strict confidentiality, and make judgments with limited guidance.
• Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada for the required hybrid schedule.
