What you will do

  • Lead customer-facing Solution Design and BRD sessions to define scope before it becomes contractual.
  • Provide product expertise for RFP responses and technical pursuits during the sales cycle.
  • Translate sales-cycle commitments into clearly defined Epics for Delivery Product Owners.
  • Author and co-author SOW solution language for enhancements and integrations.
  • Review proposals for product feasibility and roadmap alignment, flagging risks to leadership.
  • Coordinate contributions from Engineering Leads, UI/UX designers, and technical SMEs to ensure cohesive deliverables.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Solution Consultant, or Technical Product Manager in B2B.
  • Proven experience producing Solution Design documents and BRDs.
  • Experience leading discovery sessions with external clients.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and active use of modern AI tooling in your workflow.
  • Ability to orchestrate cross-functional work and defend estimates under pressure.
  • Must be based in the USA or Canada.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with utility Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing, or meter-to-cash.
  • Prior B2B SaaS experience contributing to RFPs and SOWs.
  • Integration and API fluency (authentication, error handling, third-party connectors).
