VP IT Delivery and Deployment-Servicing Platform (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Detroit, Michigan or Arlington, Texas, United States; three days per week in the office. International business travel may be required, potentially up to 20%.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end modernization of the Servicing Platform, including strategy, execution, architecture evolution, adoption, and measurable business outcomes.
• Own complex, multi-year, multi-million-dollar transformation programs, including investment, delivery, risk, governance, and value realization.
• Partner with business, product, architecture, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity leaders to align priorities, decisions, and execution.
• Translate business strategy into modernization roadmaps and product capabilities that customers and partners will adopt.
• Communicate tradeoffs, risks, progress, and decisions clearly to executive stakeholders in business terms.
• Build and lead a high-performing organization in complex and ambiguous environments.

Requirements

• Proven record of leading enterprise-scale modernization and transformation programs with end-to-end accountability for strategy, execution, outcomes, and key decisions.
• 15+ years of IT delivery experience, including roles such as administrator, developer, analyst, project manager, program manager, or Platform Owner.
• 7+ years implementing and supporting technology solutions in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-year, multi-million-dollar programs end to end, with accountability for investment, delivery, adoption, and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to articulate business value, investment rationale, and measurable outcomes, not only delivery execution.
• Deep fluency in modern product, platform, and architecture practices; legacy-only backgrounds are insufficient.
• Experience leading modern product, engineering, and platform organizations in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, relationship-building, business acumen, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Credibility to lead senior teams, navigate conflict effectively, and operate at a higher level; proven AI skills and implementation capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study or equivalent work experience.
