What you will do

• Lead the design and improvement of advanced systems for large wheel loaders, dozers, and compactors.
• Define product architecture, machine configuration, and modularity strategies.
• Apply customer and market insights to drive engineering decisions and competitive benchmarking.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively across customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and business partners throughout the product lifecycle.
• Evaluate and benchmark new and existing products against performance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Must be based in Decatur, IL.
• Proven experience in systems integration, configuration engineering, or complex product development.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and integration methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with PLM systems and product configuration platforms.
• Sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in heavy equipment or mining equipment industries.
• Working knowledge of QMS and continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience with prototyping, system testing, validation, and verification processes.
