Solution Architect (Enterprise Network Security)

Location: Remote in the San Francisco Bay Area or the Seattle, WA Area; travel up to 30% for customer engagements, workshops, assessments, and project activities.

What you will do

• Design enterprise campus, branch, data center, and network security solutions for new and existing clients.
• Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, resilient, and secure architectures.
• Develop HLDs, LLDs, reference architectures, technical recommendations, standards, and best practices.
• Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, architecture reviews, presentations, demonstrations, and solution reviews.
• Support RFP, RFI, proposals, scope development, effort estimation, and SOW creation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering, delivery, managed services, sales, and customer teams throughout implementation and transition.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in network, data center, and security engineering or architecture.
• Experience in consulting, professional services, systems integration, or solution architecture.
• Deep experience with HPE Aruba Networking and HPE Juniper Networking solutions.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, routing and switching, data center fabrics, segmentation, high availability, and network security.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, or Cisco security platforms and technologies such as BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, VRFs, VLANs, VPNs, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Strong customer-facing presentation, communication, documentation, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet certifications or vendor experience.
• HPE Aruba, HPE Juniper, Cisco, PCNSE, or Fortinet certifications.
• Cloud networking and hybrid architecture experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with Python, Ansible, APIs, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience working for a VAR, systems integrator, managed services provider, or consulting organization.
