What you will do

• Build and maintain accounting and internal control processes for new revenue products while ensuring SOX readiness.
• Collaborate with IT and product owners to provide mentorship on revenue accounting requirements.
• Partner with Technical Accounting to vet and implement revenue accounting solutions.
• Review monthly close tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Drive process improvement projects to streamline and automate manual workflows.
• Manage open accounting issues to support project planning and delivery.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• BA/BS or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification with experience in revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• 6+ years (with Master’s) or 8+ years (with Bachelor’s) of experience in public accounting or tech companies.
• Strong project management skills and experience mentoring team members.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and ability to work with large datasets.

• Experience with Workday Financial Management.
• Experience with Zuora or Zuora RevPro.
